Overseas teachers who wish to teach in the UK will need to meet certain requirements and take specific steps to be eligible for employment. These requirements may include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant teaching qualifications, and proof of proficiency in English language skills. Overseas teachers may also need to have their qualifications and teaching experience assessed by UK regulatory bodies, such as the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC).
