This Pearson’s Level 3 Certificate in Assessing the Quality of Assessment, qualifies all individuals to professionally assess the learning that takes place in their area of specialism.
At the end of this qualification, individuals become fully qualified assessors with progression opportunities to become IQA (Internal Quality Assurance) or Verifiers as is more commonly referred to.
Qualified assessors are a vital link needed to meet the emerging needs of the developing qualification frameworks and to ensure that quality standards are maintained in all qualifications.

All trainees on this qualification are guaranteed learners to work with to demonstrate their skills, knowledge, and understanding and will have the opportunity to visit the learners assigned to them in the school setting.
There are numerous job opportunities for assessors in different apprenticeship programmes and vocational training programmes in colleges and adult institutions.
Being a qualified Assessor allows practitioners to determine their own flexible work hours and have a good work-life balance.
